Aladdins Cave Chandlery has converted its shop at Swanwick Marina into a specialist Marine technical and Leisure clothing store. Mr. Bill Foulkes, one of the company's owners commented "We have always sold clothing within our five shops, but felt that we needed to expand the choice offered to our customers, and offer that choice under one roof, the new arrangement will allow our staff to acquire specialist knowledge and be able to give a better service".
With well-known brands such as Henri-Lloyd, Gill, Sebago, Musto, Dubarry and Weird Fish, Aladdins Cave will be offering technical clothing such as waterproofs as well as a wide selection of casual clothing that will appeal to the yachtsman and landlubber alike.
A selection of chandlery and general convenience items such as sandwiches drinks and cigarettes will continue to be supplied in a temporary building adjacent to the shop, this will be backed up by our specialist chandlery just across the bridge. Customers from Swanwick Marina can have heavy or bulky items delivered to our Trade Counter in the marina.
