Premier Marinas

Premier Yacht Sales Ltd was formed to take on the yacht sales division when Premier Marinas Ltd bought AH Moody & Sons in 2005.

The Premier Yacht Sales brand has grown considerably from the brokerage, Elan and Moody brands in 2005 to now include Island Packet yachts and Cranchi motorboat dealerships (in 2007).

Moody Yachts is one of the best known names in the marine industry, well respected across the globe, renowned for impeccable build quality and finish throughout, the Moody brand is synonymous with blue water cruising.

Moody Yachts have been designed by Bill Dixon for 30 years. In 2007 Premier finalised a deal with German based Hanse Yachts to acquire the Moody brand and build a fantastic, new, wide range of Moody Yachts with Premier as the sole UK dealer. Bill is one of the world's most talented superyacht designers and continues to design the brand with Design Unlimited doing the interiors. The Moody 45DSe, to be launched in March 2008, is the first of the new Moody yacht range.

For those interested in the more classic UK built Moody yachts, Premier Yacht Sales have a large brokerage list of power and sail boats from all brands, specialising in Moody yachts of all sizes and ages.

Premier Yacht Sales are the UK's sole dealer for Slovenian built Elan Yachts. Designed by Rob Humphreys, this range of cruising and performance yachts are all built under the permanent technical supervision of Germanischer Lloyd. Each Elan yacht carries its own GL certificate as ultimate proof of her quality, durability and safety.

The increasingly popular Elan range of yachts offers great value for money, with a boat of high quality build and superb sailing performance - offering both a cruiser racer range in the Elan Performance boats and a true cruising range in the Elan Impressions. The design and performance has been recognised by the industry with the Elan Impression 344 winning European Yacht of the Year 2006, the Elan 340 in 2007 and both the Elan 410 and 514 being nominated for European Yacht of the Year 2008.

The brand continues to develop and grow with the launch of the Elan 450 in the UK in 2008.

Premier Yacht Sales took on the Island Packet Yacht dealership in September 2007. Island Packet Yachts was founded by Bob Johnson, Naval Architect, in 1979. Island Packets are renowned for their comfort and practicality both at sea and alongside, offering a balance between the inviting and spacious living environment and safe, functional design.

Island Packet Yachts are true ocean cruisers and fit very well in the Premier profile alongside the Elan and Moody brands. A totally different look to the Elan and the new Moody, the Island Packet is built very much for those long passages as well as local cruising.

The range consists of the Island Packet 370, 440, 465 and 485 as well as the SP Cruiser (motor sailor) and PY Cruiser motor boat.

Premier Yacht Sales became Cranchi power boat dealers in October 2007. The Cranchi brand fits extremely well with the Premier Yacht Sales profile and Premier is pleased to sell power boats of this calibre alongside the strong sail yacht brands in the Premier Yacht Sales family.

Cranchi is the first all power brand that Premier Yacht Sales have chosen to sell. Built in Italy, the Cranchi family started building boats in 1870. Today Cranchi are the highest example of "Made in Italy", permanently linked to the concepts of luxury, exclusiveness, technology and design. With the base objective of "satisfying our customers", Cranchi are proud to say they love their work and all of the above result in the committed search for perfection.

The Cranchi range currently consists of motorboats from a 27ft sports boat to a 50ft flybridge cruiser.
