Facilities for you

At Port Solent Marina, our friendly and experienced team is on hand 24 hours a day to help you with advice on the best cruising grounds, provide details on the wide range of services and facilities Premier offers, and assist with any problems. We are committed to making your stay with us as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

TOILETS AND SHOWERS

Berth holder only toilet and shower blocks can be found at Bridgehead 1 and Bridgehead 2. Both offer baby change facilities. We assess them regularly to maintain a very high standard of cleanliness. They remain open 24 hours a day for your convenience.

LAUNDERETTE

  • The launderette is on the ground floor of the Port House. 
  • The washing machines and tumble driers are coin operated, taking £1 coins and 50ps. 
  • There is also an iron and board. 
  • It is open for use 24 hours a day using our marina control fobs or access codes.
  • Washing powder is not supplied but may be purchased from the nearby 24-hour Tesco.

BARS AND RESTAURANTS

You can visit a different bar and restaurant every night with the wealth of choice available on The Boardwalk, whether you like Mexican, Italian, or Indian food there is something to tempt you. Marina reception staff can help with telephone numbers for reservations at peak times.

SHOPS AND CASHPOINTS

A cash point is located at the entrance to the Boardwalk. 

There are also cash point and cash back facilities at the 24-hour Tesco superstore nearby.

PUBLIC TELEPHONE

Located on The Boardwalk.

POST BOX

Post boxes are at the marina reception and the entrance to the Boardwalk.

POST COLLECTION POINT

Letters and parcels can be collected from marina reception.

WEATHER FORECAST

Two-day forecasts are posted daily on each Bridgehead notice board, in marina reception, and on the notice board outside reception.

FREE CAR PARKING

There are berth holders' car parks by Bridgehead 1 and Bridgehead 2.

FUEL

We operate the fuel bay 24 hours a day, selling diesel and unleaded petrol. Please request fuel using VHF channel 80 before leaving your berth. Out of hours, operation of the lock takes priority.

ELECTRICITY

Call in at marina reception to get the relevant access code. The supply operates with a normal 3-pin plug. You only pay for what you use at 11.5p per unit. There is no deposit or service charge.

WATER ON PONTOONS

Provided free of charge. Reception staff will supply you with the relevant hose if not already fitted.

BOTTLED GAS

Calor Gas is available from reception.

PORTSMOUTH HARBOUR YACHT CLUB

With a prime waterfront location, on the ground floor of the Port House, the Yacht Club offers equally excellent food in its Quayside Restaurant and Bar. The Club is open to all visiting yachtsmen and non-members.

PORT SOLENT YACHT CLUB / BERTH HOLDERS ASSOCIATION

Port Solent Yacht Club welcomes both sail and powerboat enthusiasts of all levels of experience. It organises rallies, day sails, and two to four week cruising trips, plus a series of meetings with guest speakers during the winter. For more details pick up a PSYC handbook from marina reception.
