BRIGHTON MARINA
Are recruiting for the following position:
BERTHING MASTER
- Working as part of a team on a shift pattern basis to include day, late, nights and some weekends.
- As the Duty Berthing Master you will be responsible for booking in visitors and berthing arrangements. Other duties include towing vessels, serving fuel and operating the lock gates. You will also conduct general marina checks, and provide Customer Service within our busy modern marina office.
- You must have excellent customer service skills, be computer literate and have a flexible approach.
- A boat handling qualification would be an advantage.
- This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Skilled Fabricator/Welder
Location: Swanwick
We currently have a vacancy for a skilled fabricator/welder within the Fabrication Department at Swanwick Marina.
Experience within the marine industry would be a distinct advantage.
Essential skills:
- TIG & MIG Welding to a high quality standard on Stainless Steel and Aluminium.
- Ability to fabricate from drawings and patterns with the minimum of supervision including the use of Lathe and Milling Machine.
- Adaptability and versatility, the desire to work in a team, seeking and offering advice in order to maximise quality and productivity.
Desirable Skills:
- Polishing of Stainless Steel.
- Tube bending and fabrication.
- Current Full Driving Licence.
